Yes, n1w. Especially for us Swiss. If car drivers here are aware of a piece of street, that is straight for longer than 300m, they have the feeling of being bored and think, this is the time for writing SMS or make a phone call to their relatives ... ;-)

Every workday I experience the bicycle rush hour of Utrecht, not1word. I should capture it on camera one day.

Norrel, on this straight route you probably could put all the cars of whole Netherland in a line. Imagine that, then you would be the only one driving around in Utrecht!

Hier sieht's aber mehr nach See als salzig aus, dabei ist das Satellitenbild ganz weiß.... Was hast Du nur mit dem Salz gemacht;-)

Das stimmt. Zu dieser Jahreszeit (Oktober) schien das Grundwasser wieder etwas gestiegen zu sein. Auf der Karte sieht man links oben von meinem Positionspfeil auch noch den Ansatz einer Pfütze.
Also, mit dem Salz hab ich nichts gemacht. Hab auch keins weggenommen, im Gegenteil, im Schweisse meines Angesichts kam da sogar noch welches hinzu. ;-)

Ist das wirklich Grundwasser? Irgendwo muss das wohl rausquellen, so wie hier.

Dein Salzbeitrag war da aber eher der Tropfen auf den heißen Stein;-)

Also das Gebiet ist da wirklich sehr flach. Und der Great Salt Lake (siehe weiter östlich auf der Karte) ist ziemlich nahe. Ich kann mir schon vorstellen, dass der Wasserstand je nach Saison leicht höher oder tiefer liegen kann. Das merkt man dann in diesem flachen Gelände sofort.
