Nick, Alan, Vadim, Thanks again for the visit and the stars! Alan, as usual you are right, it is an old 'F' unit. Typicaly a train would be hauled by a pair of these back to back, with one or two 'cabless' versions of the same in the middle, thus giving 12 or 16 driving axles. Nick, you are also right, they were primerily designed as freight locos back inthe 1950's
