beautiful shot ian! cheers, brian
Thanks Brian. I found it quite a stunning end to a day.
Really majestic sunset! A great shot from a great magic moment!
It was great to stand there and watch. We had seen the sunset before but as we climbed out of the valley back up on to the divide and this opened up for us.
As I have lived at a much lower latitude (27º) than this, I normally expect the sun to set quite vertically, and was delighted to watch it roll down the mountainside at the lower trajectory of a higher latitude (55º) in summer. Interesting phenomena, plenty of magic as it played with the sea fog that was beginning to make her appearance.
Thanks for your response, Alberto.
Beautiful sunset shot Ian!
Like I said, Cheryl, you love colour and sunsets!! I am pleased that you like this one, for I found it to be quite an unusual event. Thanks for your response.
Hello Ian. Beautiful Sunset.Y*
Thanks David. We had followed the sunset for a while. At this point we had just climbed back up another range to see it all again. Warmest regards from Brisbane.
Thank you, Caulene. Maybe the sun is about t set there again, right now...just as it is rising here in Brisbane.

Wow, Kappa Delta, I am honoured by your appreciation.
Hello Yuri. Thanks for your greetings and encouragement. I value the encouragement that flows among our network of Pano friends from all over the world.
This was our second sunset for that day!
Ian (in Queensland)
You get some very nice sunsets in Ireland, very cool picture, good work!
You sure do, Steve. The long summer evenings and the oceanic air together give some distinctiveness to Ireland's sunsets...not forgetting Iceland's eruptions. Thanks for the compliment.
