Zoran
Dear Zoran,
thanks for your e-mail. Sorry, I was just there as a tourist for one day. But I love that place and like to return as soon as possible. Where are you from? Zoran sounds like former Jogoslavian? I'm curious about the progress. Will we stay in touch?
Saludos Erik

Hallo Erik, wie geht es Ihnen?
Yes, you are right. I am a former Yugoslavian or Jugoslawische. I live in Canada, but you probably know some people from my country living and working in Germany. I love to travel, and thinking about changing my residence again,...but this time I like to change the hemisphere :)
I am a peaceful person, and as such I seek for a tranquil and natural environment, with less pollution and human activities as possible. Of course, I still need some of the convenience of the modern world, but to the less extent.
What brings you to this beautiful country? Thank you for posting your photos on Google Earth, probably the best program for people to educate themselves about this planet of ours.
For now, I am just curious, and cannot move away permanently from Canada. Not until I retire early in 9 years. I can visit, but not to stay as long as I want (5-6 months at the time). Maybe the prices are good now, maybe the prices won't change much in the future. Uruguay is a nice retirement spot. Never been there.
Have a great day! If you move there before me, maybe you can give me some tips (do's and don't's)
Hallo Zoran,
danke für die Mail!
I was invited by a friend who lives part of the year in Punta del este. I'd like to change the continent and hemisphere too, but don't see a possibility to make a living in Uruguay or Argentina. The people there have enough problems even without me ;-) and my experience in german advertising an real estate in not very useful there.
I'm curious, so what are you doing in Canada?
Saludos Erik
Hello Erik, how are you? Winter is cold in Canada and Germany and in my homeland Serbia as well. Having the opportunity to live in both hemispheres is an advantage.
Suitable for retired folks, but not as much for younger people, who still need to work. I will still think about what is it that I like most.
I work in Toronto for a government (administration). My educational background is related to Human Resources Management, but presently I do something else.
You can for sure look for the oportunities to live and work in other places in the world. Montevideo, Buenos Aires may provide some options.
I hope you enjoy your work and find satisfaction wherever you live.
Have a good day, and let's hope this winter will end soon :)
