Thank you for your compliment. This was my very first post on Panoramio when I joined at the end of December 2006. There were only 250,000 pictures posted at that time; now less than two years later there are nearly 14 million. I guess that's progress.
I sent the film to a client of mine who is in the horse medicine and rehab business. He's going to love it too, I'm sure. Thanks, and thanks too for the warm wishes.
I saw the word "Sagamore" and instantly thought 'Teddy Roosevelt.' Of course this is not Sagamore Hill...but this is a neat shot of the snowy landscape at Lake George!

Greetings Malcolm, and Happy Holidays to you. I think I can satisfy your quest for a little of Teddy Roosevelt's Sagamore Hill. If you click on the coordinates under the map on the right you'll be treated to even more photos; in fact, you'll be brought to Google Earth's entire Sagamore Hill collection.
I visited Sagamore Hill, a national park on my 62nd birthday in order to lose no time applying for my senior pass. I mention it because it assures me, and my party (up to 6 people I think) free admittance to any and all national parks in the US. You can get the pass at any NP; it's just that Sagamore Hill is the closes to my New Jersey home. It was singularly the best $10 ever spent.
Thanks Mario. It is perfect timing to re-visit this photo. It was taken on the morning of New Year's Day 2004...an anniversary itself of sorts. So Happy New Year.
