Yes, Makis, I fell in love with this tree when I saw it and am so pleased you like the photo. There are many olive groves in the Central Valley of California. I have one olive tree, about five years old, that I started from a pit and it seems happy here. I would like to see the olive trees in your beautiful Greece. Thank you for looking at my pictures.

Yes, Toto, it is a very old and beautiful olive tree, and it is now 25 years older than when I made the photograph. Perhaps a friend from Greece or Italy can tell us how old is this olive tree.

What an amazing old olive tree Suzi. Don't know the age of this one, but there's reputed to be the oldest olive tree - 5000 years old! - in Crete.
