I worked here in the early '70s. The protruding windows weren't there then, and the place was old enough that no food was served, and the only flavor soft-serve was vanilla. Cones cost from 12 to 37 cents! We didn't even have cash registers; we either added the bill in our heads, or on a piece of scratch paper.
I've always liked that neon sign.
