Once belonged to Sir John Conroy, Queen Victoria's Mother's friend and advisor, whom Victoria hated. But when she first went to the Isle of Wight, she fell in love with this house, during her time with the Prince Albert, they use to spend a lot of time here, and Prince Albert renovated this house when they bought it off Sir John Conroy. Glad to see that it is still loved.

The house, as you know underwent some extensive modification. It has some delightfull gardens and I love the views from the windows at the back of the house.
