i wish if i would not be ...,I could travel as i wish!
I don't know about it's story May, but you know this(castles) is one of my favourites items. I love their strength, their expression even if it has some lack of grace... The same happens to me with provincial romanic churches... A pleasure to visit you as always, abrazo, Edmundo
Zaman, we never know what will be in a few years... :) Best wishes, May
Edmundo, thank you for visiting and commenting! Our castles are not representative for wealth, but rather earthbound and strongholds, used for administration up to today and sometimes still with a little prison for a person or two for short offenses. Those castles are from the middle-ages and were built for centuries, therefore and for the fact, that we never had any royals or peers, we don't have any castles to show luxury like in other countries in Europe, where they had or still have monarchies. :)
Edmundo, I have put some photos from the Engadin and of the Segantini family tomb for you. Abrazos, May

A beautiful shot! before my family came from Europe (1733) the name was Trachsel, it's great to see a possible part of our family history,
Thank you Tom! That's a long time ago! :) The history of the castle goes back to the early 12th century. It's one of the best preserved castles.
