We usually tied up at the Govt docks to your left, but this marina is more photogenic. Also a popular choice for absentee boat owners who don't want to pay Vancouver moorage prices. Lovely shot, and good choice for sepia.
Cheers, Nawitka :)
It was a difficult day for photographs with all the hot haze.
So it's cheaper to just leave your boat here and make your own way back to Vancouver?
I think we'll be getting a boat next year, or at least getting some sailing lessons or whatever one does!
Cheaper is a relative term, when it comes to boats. But still, if you can walk on and off the ferry without taking a car, then you can achieve some savings on moorage. Nawitka spent a couple of winters in the Gulf Isands and we did the walk-on thing. Cost savings aside, it put us in a much better position for short weekend cruises.
very nice shot!!
Well I am planning to win a non-defective lottery ticket in the coming weeks, Nawitka.
Cheers, Majid and Roberto :)
I like the authentic mood in this picture. Great compo, nice monochromatic. Great job, whoelius!
Nice sepia, hard to identify the moorage dodging Boaters, LOL cheers scally.
