The bird can rest in this leafless tree, but it cannot hide anymore. For me you're revealing here one sad aspect of the industrialisation - thats the reason i like this photo. Kind regards, Jörn

Hi Jörn. The photo was taken a week and a half ago and you're not too sensible. It's just I haven't put it that way about this particular shot. Maybe because the tree in the picture was, oddly, the only leafless one in the area. But I guess you're right about the effects of industrialization. For me, the saddest aspect of this trip was to discover large patches with no trees at all on the slants of the mountains, which were wooded not long ago. I couldn't photograph those sites... You can see some examples if you check the mapping of the photo and look a bit north of the photo's position. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us here. My best wishes, Liviu
Repausul a fost si pentru fotograf, intr-adevar, Simona. Nu prea mai erau copaci la altitudinea la care am facut fotografia, asa ca nu a avut multe optiuni. Dar oricum, pot spune ca am avut noroc ca s-a oprit acolo, altfel nu puteam s-o fotografiez. Toate cele bune! Liviu
