Did you ever pick these and put them in colored water? Seems I did it once as a kid but love to see them growing wild on the roadsides.

Joy, No, but I have seen some flowers that were dyed. Now I'll be wanting to try it myself. Red would be a good choice, right? I'll have to add some red food coloring to my grocery list. Do you use food coloring or something else?

Is this hemlock or lace?

This is Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota). It is similar to Poison Hemlock (Conium maculatum). Thank you for asking this question. Now I will update my tags. :)

Queen Anne's Lace is much more plentiful here than the Poison Hemlock. It grows like crazy here too. :D
