The Road Show decided to go ahead and splurge, and visited a few exotic locales. Rome was at the top of the list, and was deemed to be a "not to miss" stop. We are ever so pleased that we had the opportunity.
they really haven't the advertising budget that they once had.
lol, Don. Well, it is the off-season, too. One can't be living on truffles and Crème Brûlée all the time.
Have enjoyed your Road Show so far n1w. Is this vacation time for you?
A day or less but nice picture anyway. Is this Rome in its entirety?
If I owned a farm here, I'd call it The Colosseum.
What a beautiful landscape. I'd love to live somewhere like this. Pure, clean, green...
Yes, whoelius, that's Rome. Everybody does know.
Greetin's, marbiz. Not so much of a vacation, as me playing taxi service for an old friend, with a chance to toss in some driving, visiting and general gawping. I snuck three days off work, and tossed in a weekend, and came out with five days of good times. Glad you could come along!
There is a large building and a couple smaller outbuildings behind the trees on the right, Margot. The first time that I went "through" here years ago, I remember laughing out loud, and thinking the title. Ever since then, I've been dying to find an outlet for the whole thing, and what-do-you-know, I finally found it.
LOL, Norrel. The locals would probably ask you to move to Italy or someplace.
whoelius, you might not appreciate it so much during these warmish days of summer (think bake oven), or in the nippy days of winter (bone-numbingly brisk). Spring and fall might be kind of nice, though. ; )
You could stand to add a tag in your gallery... well, maybe two: Sign and Neon Sign.
This sign and title are so very cool!
Thank you very much, Jean. I was happy that I got the chance to swing back through here to catch it.
And going back up a bit further, Margot, for a bit fuller view of the building around the tree from here, you can take a look at this from someone else.
It probably was built in a day.
