This is one of a selection of photographs I took on a walk from Clough House car park. The walk heads up alongside Cumberland Brook, taking a right turn at the waterfall. This climbs along a track to reach the A54 near Holt. Descending down to pick up the River Dane as it forms Three Shires Head & Panniers Pool. Following on skirting around Cut-Thorn Hill crossing the A54 again onto Wood Moss. This then drops you down to Crag & Wildboarclough. Taking the path around Bank Top, you can head on up to the top os Shutlinsloe, returning by the same route, or continue on back to Clough House.

Nice lighting on this one – there’s nothing like a sunlit foreground and shadows on the hills for adding interest to a landscape photo.
