Greetings Ioannis, Thanks for visiting and commenting. We saw this on our last visit to San Francisco, CA. The city's transportation department buys old trams from around the world, refurbishes them and puts them on their tram lines. It is very nostalgic and fits in with the old cable cars.

Greetings Susan, The trams in SF come from all over the world. The buy used trams, refurbish them, leaving old advertisements, etc., inside the car. It is a lot of fun. We buy the all day pass and then ride all over the place. Your husband would love it.
