The trail to the falls ends on the north bank of the stream and only part of the falls is visible. I crossed the stream (a bit hazardous) to take this photo (I left my tripod on the other bank, so I had to hand hold the camera for this photo). The falls is just over 280 feet/85 meters high and spreads out about 80 feet/25 meters at the bottom. Because of the location of the falls, one cannot get back far enough to enjoy the full spectacle of the falls and being so near the bottom foreshortens its true height. Still, it is an amazing falls to visit.
