How do you get the color to appear "Deep"? Is this Photoshop editing? What ever you do, it's fantastic!

Thank you very much, hermieb. I was using a program called Microsoft Digital Image 10 on many of the shots at this time. It lets you tweak different aspects of the shot, much like Photoshop. I was using it at the time because it was a program that came with the computer I had bought, but I've since broken down and bought Photoshop Elements8.

On most of my shots, I like to mess with the contrast setting first, as I like that deeper toned color you've mentioned. After that, it's just a matter of having a general idea of what you were looking for in a photo, or, what starts looking good as you work with it. Sometimes you know what you wanted based on lighting conditions or subject, but your mind changes when you see the actual image.
