the church is from the second half of the 9 century,but it's not the oldest Christian church. it's the best preserved church from that period.
Thank you for comment ... I'm from Slovkia and I don't know very much about Croatian history. But this information was writen in some tourist guide... :) Anyway it's beautiful place with very strong feeling.

It is not the oldest Christian church, but church's bell tower is the oldest (still standing) in Croatia...

This is Serbian church and cemetery. Cyrillic signs and letters from the walls were removed by Ante Milosevic in order to claim this as "oldcroatian" church. He even(2000-2001) made a window on est side of the tower puling down the cyrillic sign.
