This way you take pictures? Strange.

Jean Gregory Evans on August 14, 2009

nakhonkup, Oh, I'm hoping that you like strange. Strange is a good thing, right? :))

If not, maybe you like this one better.

Hi from the mountains of North Carolina, USA,

I mean you is a photograph? It does not startle animals. Continue this important imaging difficult.

Got bored with boats it seems ~ a lovely capture Jean ~ friendly greetings from nick

Jean Gregory Evans on August 18, 2009, Wow, I'm glad you like it. I as thinking about photographing the fallen mushroom when I saw movement in the camera's image as the curious and friendly baby raccoon came to see what I was looking at. I could hardly believe it! Thank you for many nice comments!!!!

JF, He was indeed. It is that friendly baby raccoon, the one who likes to do that little dance that kittens do when they invite play. He is growing and doesn't do that dance much anymore but he does like to come to greet me when he's in the neighborhood and I go out. It is sort of startling! Sometimes he pats my shoe!

Nick, This is the baby of one the sailors. He plays with the boat and a golf ball. He also has a cat toy that has a bell in it. I see some of his toys every few days. The golf ball goes back into the big birdbath that is on the ground for the raccoons and other wildlife. The babies really enjoy the golf ball. The boat, they like that on the moss. They must be landlubbers like me.

Greetings from the mountains of North Carolina, USA,

Very CUTE!

Jean Gregory Evans on August 30, 2009

Säm, thank you. Raccoon want pilz, yes! Sometime I see the babies knock the top off of mushrooms and then play with them like they are their favorite toy.

Ippa, thank you! I was about to take a boring photo of that fallen mushroom when he sneaked up on me, curious about what I was looking at.

Beautiful, I seem to have missed the votes button, sorry about that.

I really envy you those special moments with the raccoons but Im am so glad that they have a caring person like you in their neck of the woods. Its extremely heart warming and long may it continue.
