Ancient Milan's Tram

Greetings AlexMatos, This reminds me of the trolley cars that San Francisco buys, refurbishes and puts back on their trolley routes. It is such a neat way to get around a city. Very nice pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Dei miei 33 anni di "cattività milanese, come mi piace chiamare tutto il tempo che vi ho abitato, io, toscana e volterrana - ora vivo a Firenze, in collina, con una vista meravigliosa sulla città - ricordo quasi tutto, credo. Ma quelle mattinate d'inverno, quando, uscendo dal portone della mia casa, la prima boccata d'aria era disgustosa, e poi, in Piazza Duse, i ragazzi che portavamo il pane fischiavano al mio passaggio, ma non li guardavo nemmeno, e infine in corso Venezia, che freddo! aspettavo il tram, con il suo unico occhio che sbucava dalla nebbia, mi sembra fosse il 23, che faceva un bel giro intorno al Duomo, finchè non si arrivava alla "mia" fermata, abbastanza vicino al Berchet... dove arrivavo sempre quando il portone era ancora chiuso. C'è qualche berchettiano che sta leggendo queste poche righe? Io ero nella sezione E. E tu, caro/a sconosciuto/a? Ma il Liceo Berchet, che tutti definiscono il Liceo dei "ragazzi bene", mentre noi eravamo invece i più pestiferi liceali, e i "ragazzi bene" andavano al Parini? Non l'hanno ancora capito? Dalla mia classe è uscito un Onorevole, un Prof. di Fisiologia all'Università, una scrittrice, tante brave persone, e un paio di carogne. Se ne parla tanto perché il nostro prof. di religione era il "Gius". L'hai conosciuto, tu che hai forse già smesso di leggere?
