Hello Bruce, I am honoured to be in your list of favourite photographers! You can see (smiley) that you already had been in my list, from obvious reasons.
I appreciate that my photos will be visited shortly by "your network" of photographers having you in their preferences... :-)
I only wonder how you can handle such a long list of favourites - you ought to receive tons of notifications of new photos and it had to take very long to see them all ;-)
Very good shot. You handle the morning "misty" feel so nicely! Cheers, David
Hi Tom, beautiful photography, and golden light on the foreground, giving the mountains a lovely misty appearance. These are pretty big boulders here - are they glacial moraine?
Warm greetings, Amelia
Hello Amelia, please to see your visit at my "back pages"...
Place does not look like glacial moraine valley - limestone rocks are on the top of the hills and their sides, character of the hills also differs from usual look of glacier terrain. No U shaped valleys, mostly mountain plateaus and steep canyons formed by water, with some karst effects - nearby region is called Temple Basin.
I cannot explain it better, I am not expert in geology. But I can give you links to typical photos nearby:
wonderful place and super shot!!! Greetings a.beyer
Tady jsem vstal ještě včas dísky nesrovnanému čaosvému posuvu (12 hodin) a skoro profi fotografům Nováčkovým, kteří mne vytáhli fotit v pět ráno.

Very nice view; beautiful light; well done, Tomas!
I don't know this part of NZ, it's beautiful. I rided for a little more than 5000 km in this beautiful country with the friendly people...Except some fu...truck drivers...
5000 km... you had to travel along all the road in the country! ;-)
I was in NZ twice, each trip about 2 months and 2700 km. Best country I have ever visited, my heart is broken and I want to get back!
Truck drivers are problem for cyclists everywhere, I guess...
