This kayaking series from Greenland is very beautiful Mats, well done! After all I think this photo I commented on yesterday is the one I like best, so I decided to award that one with a Y*. However, the photo shown on the current page is also very nice, so a like seems in place here.

Cheers, Tomas

Thank you Tomas, I am glad you like the series. This was the "other" favorite photo I had of my wife in the kayak and an iceberg. I can tell you that you have to try hard, sitting in your kayak, handling the system camera, steering the kayak and trying to get a good angle. Since it was a guided tour you could also not just stop too much, even though we got a lot of time for photography. And you cannot tell your wife to return and start again too many times. Cheers, Mats.

I can imagine that it is not at all easy under those conditions Mats which makes these shots all the better. All are bright, sharp, and well-composed; completely unnoticeable that you had a hard time taking them!

By the way... better not to capsize either with your camera onboard! ;)

matsljungberg on January 1, 2011

Thank you Tomas. It is always a problem with your camera during kayak trips (not only the risk to capsize but also due to waves throwing water on you ), or ski trips, when the snow fall, or rain. You should not also fell into the water when doing long distance skating :-). My older camera has received too much water in it, sometimes giving problems, and I think it is mainly because of snow. Greetings, Mats.

Ello Mat, I miss some ice for my cooler.

matsljungberg on January 16, 2011

Hello Francis. It was plenty of glacier ice, but difficult to bring home :-). My wife is enjoying the large ice block. Greetings, Mats.
