Hello Draken, How are you doing? I haven't heard from you for quite a while...

This shot is so well taken! I like it very much!

Greetings from Ria

Hello, Ria

I am fine. I have been working and with little time to take pictures or adjust/post-process photos I have lately taken.

I saw the "scene" of this picture in the morning but I was carrying just a point & shoot camera so I decided to come back in the afternoon and shoot a decent one.

I liked the contrast between the lady street vendor and the giant movie poster. The title "The secret of her eyes" added to the atmosphere, I think.

I am beginning to take street scenes but sometimes it is kind of hard because bystanders stare at you or some people don't like being phtographed. I intend to show them with respect, being accurate and comprehensive in the representation of subjects.

I also avoid stereotyping individuals and groups.

I hope my urban scene photos are taken like a sort of photojournalism.

Greetings from Draken

Very nice one!

Thank you, Hans.

It has been a long time since we last exchanged comments but I always get the e-mail notification with your latest uploads and take some time to view your pictures. You have been pretty busy and productive, haven't you?

We will soon be celebrating your 1.000 pages!!

Best regards,

Hi Draken,

you're right and I'm sorry. I've had a decease in the family and I've been working on several projects, so I've spent little time online.

Offline I have indeed been very busy and productive. My lastest uploads are only a fraction of what I have in store.

1.000 pages? Let's take one step at a time: I haven't reached 900 pages yet so 1.000 pages is still far away. Especially because I insist on not uploading "just anything". My pictures are carefully selected, reworked if necessary and mapped to the best of my abilities...

Best regards - Hans

Hi Hans

Sorry to hear about your relative's decease. I hope you are recovering from that loss. My sincere condolences.

Well, we can have a rehearse celebration when you reached the 900 pages. Methinks yours is the best quality/quantity contribution on Panoramio. Have I already said it before? Sorry If I repeat myself.

Best wishes
