X3D Stereo view of the Church of St. George - March 2007

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

You can get a beautiful stereo view of this church by crossing your eyes - if you can do that comfortably. View the left picture with your right eye and the right picture with your left eye. The stereo view will appear as a third picture between the left and right views.

This stereo pair proves that sometimes you can see things in stereo that are invisible in a single photograph. The deep canyon in the background isn't evident in either of the two shots, but it pops out at you in the stereo view.

I realize now that this stereo pair is too big for most screens. I am thinking about resizing the original and re-uploading it. But until I do, you can download the pic using "Save As" and view it comfortably. - Max

I resized this stereo pair to fit on a screen better a month ago and resubmitted it but It wasn't accepted. Go figure.

You can see it in Panoramio anyway.
