My school between 1966 and 1970; called in recently to see the latest work being done by the Lupton Trust; a truely great building and perhaps as a child there; not fully appreciated at the time.

Hi rk128 I was there someware between 1968~1970 when it was Fenton. I remember with hate, Terry Friend and mr cobble. Appart from those two horrible people i had a great time there, with two of my brothers & a sister, who was the only girl.

Hello Tony,

I was looking for images of Lupton House and found your photo.

I was a teacher at the school briefly from 1970 to 1971. There was just one girl there at the time so I'm guessing she was your sister. Was her name Janet?

Sorry if I don't remember you as well, but it's possible you'd left before I started?

Anyway, it's great to see that the building has survived, has been restored and is being used so well.

With Best Wishes, John

Hello John. The one Girl there was Jane. The only teachers I remember, were Mr Cobold and Terry Friend. Teachers I disliked immensely. Terry then followed me to my next school. The building looks remarkably unchanged considering the time elapsed since I was a Fentonian. Did you know it had a third floor which was removed after a fire? All the best Tone.
