Thanks for your visit and all your comments Peter. Regards Paul
Even without snow is very beautiful. ;-) Greetings Frank.
it is, thank you Frank. Regards.
Interesting to see the comparison between the shot with snow and this without , the strange thing is this one feels less inviting and much colder.
Your observation is spot on Sam. This image is a bit more true to the original colours (although not completely accurate). The snowy image has been worked on a bit more and it looks as though I may have gone OTT with adding "warmth" to the extent it has changed the colour completely- don't tell anyone .. :-). I prefer the snowy image and as photography should have an artistic licence I'll live with it. :-) Thanks for your visit and all of your comments - I've had a quick look at your front page and marked it to come back to when time is less pressing. I think I am going to enjoy exploring it. All the best. Paul
Without that artistic license my shots would be a poor selection so I agree , use it freely :-)
It certainly doesn't look out of place on your snowy version and as said it is the one I prefer.
Very beautiful and good photo LIKE Paul.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR for you and your family
