Indeed, yes I'm Dutch. Belgium is an other country than The Netherlands (or Holland). Belgium is bi-lingual: the southern part, La Walonie or Walogne, is Walon/French-speaking; the Northern part, Vlaanderen speaks Flamish/Dutch. Lots of people from Flanders speak both Dutch and French. Most Walons only speak French. (Typical French arrogant mentality: don't speak a language you don't master completely.) Grtz, - F -

You speak poetry Olga! But where I live blooms everything on icey ground. These hills of mine are typical for a small eastern part of The Netherlands: the Veluwe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veluwe The Veluwe was formed in Saalian glacial during the Pleistocene epoch, some 200,000 years ago, by push(ed) moraines. Hence the difference in altitude, geology & nature. It is very old ground, as is the whole eastern part of our country. The western part is flat, because for the main part it was created 'out of water' by nature or by hand. You absolutely must visit some day the higher parts of Holland! Greetings - Fried -
