Very nice picture Ian. Greetings Berend

This is the sort of photograph that, for me, puts you in a class of your own dear Ian. The attention to detail is superb, and it is probably one of the best pieces of iron oxide on Panoramio. Very imaginative photography, and it must deserve an 'Art' tag. It reminds me of a grass box, for my old push mower, that I abandoned as worthless - how I wish I had some foresight :))))

I could spend a long time looking at this delicate tracery!

Greetings, Amelia

Thank you, Berend. This is not everyone's taste in landscape photogrpahy or art, but it held my attention.

Warm regards,

Ian

Dear Amelia,

We are more than kindred spirits methinks. Thankyou for your generosity, indulgence and lively commentary. I was not as successful at working with the background as I had hoped. It just seemed a valuable addition to the series of that morning.

Little did I expect that there would be shipping disaster that very week, as a vessel left from this wharf and a few hours later descended to the depths with most of its passengers. On Sunday we will be involved in a national memorial service for those buried in the sea.

Thank you for your encouragement, through your own photographic creativity, to continue being a little artistic.

Nearly artful...

Thanks Andreas.

I have been out to 'Eua and did succeed in exploring the east coast, as rugged as it was!

Warm regards from Tonga.

Perhaps the art is to create a table from an iron rust ... It now looks like a brown map.Somewhere on earth...

Warm greetings.Füsun

This brown map is to be found somewhere on earth. It represents the imagination of the Creator who drafted the coastlines of Turkey, Dalmatia, Norway, Auckland Island or Vava'u, Tonga.

Thank you for your special comments as you have wandered through this gallery, dear Füsun!

Well received by you, and very "well received" by me. Beautiful, Ian!

Thank you Marilyn for your understanding and reception. Once we would have regarded this as useless, ugly rubbish, but through our photography and a way of seeing even this is seen differently: all things have become new.
