Above a rainbow! Isle of Mull. September 1979

This was the very start of several days trekking through the mountains of Mull. To me it seemed to be a very good omen, and proved to be so, with one of my best lightweight treks on Mull - bb

Well bb, perhaps I was lucky to watch the broken spectre but in my trekkings I have never been above a rainbow. Great image!

I guess that's the magic of these atmospheric phenomena Uranzu, their unpredictability and rareness. We're both lucky to witness such things - bb

Well I'll be, that's pretty neat. We all know what's at the end of a rainbow but what did you find at the top of it?

As I've commented in my first comment above Guy, I found (to paraphrase my recent comments with Tery!) a wealth of wonderful experiences while trekking through the high mountains of Mull!
