Jean Gregory Evans on September 1, 2009

Original macro, well done!

Jean Gregory Evans on September 1, 2009

tvangroningen, thank you very much. It was all luck. Just stupid luck. I didn't know he was under there. I am one of the luckiest people in the world. :)

Fantastic shot! I wondered if you knew that he was there when you were shooting & Guy is right he looks like he is standing.

Jean Gregory Evans on September 6, 2009

Joy, no, I'm just incredibly lucky! Yep, he's thinking of lowering his magic carpet leaf and taking a magic ride through the forest.

Did you have to crouch, to bend over, to lie?

I bet it wasn't a comfy position. Well done.

"Flexi photographer focuses on fungi, finds frog!"

Sorry, got carried away with the alliteration. :D

Jean Gregory Evans on September 17, 2009

bainketa, bowed, bottoms up and bent backwards. :))

Lisa's lovely alliteration is delightful. I'm Lucky!

tremendous, jean. its like you posed him there. but ain't it a toad? i'm telling you, all you need is a writer to do the kids book cause you have all the photos you need!

best, lew

Cal Kimola Brown on September 23, 2009

Hi Jean, the thumbnail on this one looks like a lady dressed in white carrying a white umbrella. Very cool.

Jean Gregory Evans on September 27, 2009

lew, I think you are right! It IS a toad. Folks in these parts call him a toad frog. I only just learned this. I have always called them all frogs, not realizing the differences! Now, where's a writer when you need one?

Cal Kimola, did you happen to notice the toad frog that I posed under the parasol? Doesn't he make a great handbag? ;)

Smidi on September 28, 2009

netter frosch! (nice frog) :)

D.R.Lamont on September 28, 2009

Jean Gregory Evans on September 28, 2009

Dr. Lamont, I transfered my photos to the computer and there it was. I was totally surprised!
