Vintage Cannons

Vintage cannons somehow still in service at the Vallejo Municipal Marina.

I question whether this picture shows what it says it does. I don't see any large buildings like the one in the background near the Vallejo Municipal Marina, and there don't seem to be any large trees there, either. The pin is currently located in an area shown as water on the map. I'm pretty sure this is in Independence Park, near the intersection of Mare Island Way and Maine St.

This is something about being specific and you might be right specific wise. The marina is a large area and includes a lot of stuff. This cannons are just a few feet away from the water and considering the scale of the map shown it would show as almost on the water.

The marina is over a mile upstream from where the pin is located. I have offered a suggestion about where the pin should be.

Nice shot. These cannons are on display at Independence Park, a Solano County park. It's just south of the Vallejo Baylink Ferry Terminal which is itself just south of the Vallejo Marina. The sign in the background of this picture reads, "Vallejo Baylink Parking". I used to catch the ferry here to go into San Francisco.
