They are from Dublin Bay, Theolfa! :) When I was there I found a sign which says: "The light-bellied Brent geese that come to Dublin Bay in winter, breed in Arctic Canada during the short arctic summer. The return journey from Ireland to Canada is 8 000 kilometres."

That's quite a long way, Archrodney! I will be flying from Calgary to London next week and that flight will take 10 hours. From here to Calgary will take one hour, and then an hour or so waiting at Calgary airport. Cheers! Theolfa
True, but they can fly at up to 90km/h and can complete the 1 300km journey from Ireland to Iceland in 20 hours. Why dont they just stay in Ireland? :D
The Calgary to London is even longer way but luckily you can fly with plane. Take lots of photos when you're in London. :) Go n-éirí do thuras leat! archrodney!
