Flying Horse Lane with the Lord Nelson pub on the left, Dover UK.

Photo taken from St James Lane (1) with King Street in the distance (on reaching King Street, turn right for the Market Square, or turn left for Bench Street, the Indian Mutiny War Memorial, and the seafront).

The River Dour flows under the flint and brick wall on the right towards the flint and brick wall on the left.

A photo of the old Granada cinema was taken just to the right of this location.

The building on the right at the far end of Flying Horse Lane was once the "Top Hat" restaurant and also "Pelosi's" restaurant.

More info on The Lord Nelson (a Shepherd Neame public house).

(1) St James Lane runs northwards from the western end of St James Street (West).
