What a wonderful place to be! Ahhhhhh . . . The ocean is my very favorite!

I've never made it down quite this far. I have been to Jekyll Island before, and Cumberland is my next goal.

Maybe I will plan a trip to little Talbot soon as well. It certainly looks like a wonderful place to venture. Do you happen to know if it's dog friendly?

A beautiful, magnificent place indeed.

Best regards from your Georgia neighbor,

Mary Alice

Hello, MaryAlice!

I have been to Cumberland Island once, and enjoyed it very much. You just need to get there early enough to catch the ferry. Little Talbot was also very enjoyable. There were many shorebirds. It is not pet-friendly, however. I highly recommend these places and another great beach is the Hilton Head Island beach. There is a very excellent Wildlife refuge there called Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge. It is a very peaceful place.

Best Regards from Augusta!
