In a cruise ship wasnt so dangerous, it had also lots of lightnning, but i didnt manage to capture any, of course didnt had a tripod or so to do it the right way.

Hi Alex, this picture is great! (also Your whole 'weather' selection too!)
It looks like You captured very first edge of storm front and behind that front line is outrageos rains area! Thanks for posting this and also this picture is winner for my favorites 'yellow star'.
Also thanks, for rating my stormy photos too! :) With greetings - ainars
Thanks a lot Ainars!
You right on the "mouche" the storm was about to start, There were lots of lightinings when I took these two pictures, and a few more that I didn't upload.
Very colourful and dramatic Alex. Cumulonimbus clouds add vertical drama to the otherwise flat sea. The smaller Cumulus clouds tint the sea in various shades of green, blue and grey. Layer type cloud add a sense of scale to mountains and emphasis their true size.
Excellent photo ! I'm a Corfiot, I live in Corfu as well and so I use to take photos in all seasons.
Automn and winter are my favourite ones when you can take such pictures like that above.
Corfu lays close to a mountainous part of the Balkan peninsula and a large "clear" part of the Meditteranean and this combination cause weather changes very frequently...
Thanks a lot for your comments pandimis.
You live in a beautifull place i can see.
I did enjoy a lot what I visited from Greece.
I like a lot Weather conditions pictures, showing the strenght of Mother Earth.
Like this one I took in a cruise ship while we were in the middle of the Adriatic.
Great picture! Really expressive. When you see that coming, you put out another anchor and sit tight. If you are in a good anchorage, you can sit tight in a nice taverna.
Thanks a lot Nawitka.
You r ight sitted in a nice taverna, watching the storm...would be nice.
I have more Weather conditions shots, if you like to have a look.
I'm glad you directed me to your Greece pictures Alex.I haven't made it to the 'historical' ones yet but this one is so beautiful. I wish I had been there to see it. The color and drama are wonderful! Bruce
Thanks a lot Bruce, this was a big storm coming up and we didn't made into the ship on time, so I got a litle wet...on the way. It was heavy and somewhat warm showers so did't mind a lot.
Anyway in the ship everything were great even with the storm, only I couldn't catch all the lightinings.
I also have this one with some also nice weather condition tooked a couple of days later, at the Adriatic between Dubrovnik and Bari.
Makes me wonder what it would be like to live next to the ocean like that...For a land-locked person like me, the endless dark water is awfully intimidating.
One of the most beautiful, and atmospheric photos of nature that I have ever seen. Well done Alex.
I would love to have it framed for the wall in my home.

This is the proof that bad weather can generate beautiful colors. I really like the different tints of green and blue of that picture. Well captured!
