This is a photograph of Mountpottinger 'Royal Ulster Constabulary' Station in the Short Strand area of Belfast. Mountpottinger station was, as can be seen,subjected to numerous and prolonged attacks. These attacks were often more serious and hazardous than just paint bombs. There is in fact no police station in sandy Row which is about 1.5 miles to the west as the crow flies.

Thanks for the comment - hadn't realised I'd labelled this as Sandy Row, I'd took some pictures there earlier in the day which is probably why I'd got confused!
