The 'Birks of Aberfeldy' is one of Scotlands best kept secrets, a beautiful steep sided gorge with some very pretty waterfalls topped by the one shown here which has a sturdy wooden bridge as a fantastic viewpoint, lots of fungi to be found here too if thats your thing. Its a really nice walk even for those who have a problem with heights (like me), the most dangerous parts have a good solid wood fence/barrier which inspires confidence.
