May I be the first to comment on your new photograph. I have been sat here since 5-00am Eastern Time. This is because our two cats decided that 5-00am was a pefect time for a human to get up and feed them.
Your photographs have put me in a better mood and made me forget that is still dark outside. I love taking photographs of industrial buildings just before sunrise.
If you catch it properly, Which you have, what can seem to be a solid lump of industry can take on an almost ethereal look when the lights are still on. Definitely one for my favourites.
I remember this bridge from the early sixties ~ nice shot Karen ~ have a great weekend ~ Ciao nick
Thank you so much Steven for your nice words that you have given, I was quite overwhelmed by your comments, well your two cats seem to be your alarm clock you must've taken some great misty morning shots, I'm glad my photos made you feel better, I also love taking photographs I get an adrenalin rush when I see a potential shot. This is my first industry photo, I'm glad you like it, I had to wait for the exact moment, thank you for the YS
Hi Nick thank you for your nice comments, in the early sixties I wasn't born, late sixties yes; now I've given my age away.I'm pleased you like this shot it's my first industrial photo.
Warm Wishes, Karen.

Hi Doug thank you for those inspiring words that you have given me and my photos, your comments mean a lot to me, thank you, I've been to this transporter bridge in daylight like you say, but it didn't give the same impact as twilight i.e. the blue hour, I,ve only been into photography for 18mths I've been told I have an eye for this art, but I'm still learning, the adrenalin rush, yes, I'm glad you know what I mean, good feeling is'nt it. are you a Welsh boy?
Hi Doug time flies, it's been 22months not 18mths sorry about that, I think it's safe to say your a typical Welsh boy, Wales is Wales and I think your meaning valleys? I'm from the valleys and there's some beautiful sights for our photography, if you ever want to know of any places, I'll be happy to give you some place names. I hope you enjoyed your time out today, with my camera in my hand nothing else matters, your right it's therapeutic;)Happy snapping.
I must admit I havn't seen this one, but I have seen an almost identical one at Middlesbrough (almost every day onmy way to school when I was a lad).
Thanks for sharing this with us.
Hi Doug thank you for your feedback, I'l be happy to name but a few places you could visit, thank you for your comment;))
Hi Peter thank you for your nice comments you have given, it's my pleasure to bring back your memories, through my photo, I didn't know there was an identical bridge in Middlesbrough, thanks for sharing;))
Thanks for your nice replies, and contrary to whatever anyone may have seen in a TV show about it going to Arizona, it is still here!
And some other interesting info on it too!
Beautiful Night Capture Of The Transporter Bridge, Just Like My Middlesbrough Bridge.. Best Regards linrich
