Inde, le Temple des Rats de Karni Mata à Deshnok (Rats church)

Karni Mata (born October 2, 1387 - died March 23, 1538) is a Hindu sage born in the Charan caste or community, and adored as the incarnation of the Goddess Durga (the inaccessible) by his devotees. Karni in Hindi means "miracles", and Mata "Mother". It is the official deity of the royal family of Jodhpur and Bikaner. During its existence, Karni Mata helped lay the foundation stone of two of the most important strengths of Rajputana. She lived an ascetic life of sadhvi, and most of the temples were dedicated to him being in his lifetime. The temples during his lifetime also differ from other temples dedicated to the person (represented in the form of Durga), the fact that they do not contain an image or idol set, but the footprint that symbolizes his coming to this place.
