Having driven under this foot bridge many times, I often wondered if members of the public could get to it to take these shots of Canary wharf. It was only when I had a 300 lens on, that I discovered you could not only see Docklands 15.53 miles away, but in the distance is Crystal Palace mast at 22.37 miles.

I also spotted the shorter Croydon vhf transmitter adjacent to it, which used to transmit the old 405 line tv signal. Now transmits FM radio and C5. In the left side of pic I spotted the water tower at Tomswood Hill. You can also get good views from Bedfords Park, Havering-atte-bower

Regards Pete

The water tower from the old Claybury Hospital is probably about six miles away. You'd think though, that you would be able to see the Ali Pali tower to the right. Its probably trucked in behind the trees.
