The pillbox now lies at an odd angle; like a giant concrete hexagonal nut.

When I was a lot younger it was possible to enter the pillbox through a door at the rear though this is not possible today. The structure is full of sand.

The pillbox is only a part of the extensive concrete defences visible along this bay.
