Hello JeaDis,

These sculptures are representations of Bends Begining. The Town was founded on the logging industry and it is represented by the Centennial logger and planter.

So these sculptures represent a way of life for many over the 100 years Bend existance.

Both these sculptures were installed in 2004 in honor of Bend's 100th Birthday..
