La tour Solidor abrite aujourd'hui le musée des Cap Horniers. Durant longtemps, l'anse de Solidor fut le port de Saint-Malo. Au pied de la tour se trouve une réplique de la croix que Jacques Cartier érigea à son arrivée au Canada à Gaspé, le 24 juillet 1534. Jacques Cartier résidait dans ce manoir transformé aujourd'hui en musée.
