It is possible this field should be Adaholt or Addaholt Field. Reference to Map 4 circa 1874 of the 1864 Military campaign of Atlanta. (archives of the library of Congress) Adaholt Ferry Ran across the Chattahoochee just south of this field at the mouth of Sweet water Creek. Residence just across the river from was listed as Addaholt. Neighbors included Britledge and Hurt.

Yes this is the field and the road bed is still present that leads to the ferry crossing. The land is now in the ownership of the state by the Sweetwater Creek Conservancy State Park.
