The salmon is about half way up the cascade on the right of the picture. The river Braan is not a natural salmon river but the government body responsible for fishing keep releasing baby salmon into the river above the falls to see if they will make it their home. It might be possible for them to get up these falls but impossible farther upstream where there is a much higher waterfall, unfortunately with no viewpoints that I am aware of. Its quite exciting to watch the salmon leaping up the falls but hard to photograph especially as the spray from the falls gets on the camera lens
