An impressive view. Is there a safe viewpoint or do you have to risk your life on the edge of a cliff to get a shot like that? My partner is asking me to take her there but Im not good with heights.

The place I stayed was fairly safe, the spectacular effect is due to the fact this picture is a combination of 4 vertical 50 mm views. I have chosen this method to grasp the large view of the site (with its 200 ft-high vertical cliffs), while avoiding the wide-angle deformation (which reduce the apparent height of the cliffs). The result is it looks like the picture was taken from a point suspended in the air. Actually, I was quietly standing on firm ground over a promontory. Changind light is the only limitation with this method. But this particular afternoon was an exceptionally hot (90°F) and stable weather.

Good, I will take her there when we visit Mont San Michel in 2010.
