This fine looking Gaff rigged yacht with her striking red sails is a well known vessel in these parts.

I'm not certain how or why she was named "The Strumpet" since she seems to be a well behaved ship!

Her fine lines and sea-worthy looks are much admired by local sailors..I was glad to see her!

Hallo Jim, fine photo, I like it!

Do you know that farafir Alfred lost his whole gallery??? His account is there in Panoramio, but the pictures are not to find!

He´s very sad, and there´s no answer from the forum. Can you help him???

Kind regards, Rosie

Dear Rosie, as always I am very happy to see you again and I welcome your precious comment!!

I am aware of the problem with Alfred's gallery and also very concerned. This could happen to any one of us!! Of course I am unable to take direct action my self, but I promise to make discreet inquiries to help him get some answers!! I find it hard to believe that the administrators would do this without offering an explanation!! Surely, we are entitled top fair play!!!

The moderators will know what to do and this is where I will start my inquiries!!

Thank you for making us aware of Alfred's problem!!

Kind regards Rosie

A lot of thanks, Jim!

Interesting detail: Argenna found the gallery of Alfred, but it is only a static view, you can´t open the pictures - the comment is: this photo doesn´t exist anymore...

Have a good time, __Rosie_ ((-;

I try steve111, send me any you find!! has COAL MINERS BOY been in touch??

Dear Rosie..thanks for the feed back!! I have referred the problem to one of the moderators for his attention!! I hope that Alfred will get the explanation he deserves!! I am getting very concerned about the health of Panoramio Rosie, there are things happening that greatly concern me.

Alfred is not on his own. It seems that any one of us could be axed for the slightest infringement.

Unfortunately, no one seems to care enough to explain what is going on!!

I have just learned that my good friend Coal Miners Boy is voting with his feet by closing his gallery down in protest!! I may only be a few steps behind him. I will not tolerate unfair and unjust behaviour!!

Sorry to sound so negative my friend but this is not of my doing!!

Warm regards Rosie

It will be a tragedy if you walk Jim for a temporary set of problems. I know that they are migrating everything over to the Google servers and that must be a hell of a headache for them. My pictures stopped working for a while (I had a tag - "Broken") but they got fixed after a few days without me mentioning them to anyone.

We have a strong community and worldwide friendship, hang in there. You would be gravely missed otherwise.

Warmest regards Jethro

I appreciate your kind and thoughtful words Jethro and I so much enjoy chatting away to the many friends I have made here. Of course, that is very important!! and you could be right, but at what point does temporary become the norm!!

There are people out there that don't understand the issues involved here!! me included!! misinterpretation, or simple misunderstandings through the language barrier all serve to cause grief!!

I dearly hope that things improve soon, progress seems to be painfully slow!!

The people affected need to be re-assured !!

Warm regards ;>)

Hello Claus...always a pleasure to read your comments my friend...You are quite right of course... It would be oh so easy to confine all comment to either boats, ships, steam locos and old machinery...oh! not forgetting classic motor cycles and cars ;>) it beats endless architecture, art, historical ruins, nature and wild life..but its a bigger world than that, as we both well know ;>))

Kind regards Claus
