Others do the same!

What should I do?

kamalyn on September 3, 2009

Mahdi - here is the site's policy against advertising in comments The main goal of the policy was to eliminate all of the comments advertising people's entries in the contest because it was overloading the system, and because many found it offensive to have people leave a lot of comments that didn't really have anything to do with their photo but that were only advertising the commenter's own photos. Accounts have recently been deleted that just had links to the commenter's photos, not even specifically links to contest photos.

someGuyinmasset on September 3, 2009

Hi Mahdi, yeah others do it but they risk losing their site if someone complains, CaribbeanJJ lost his last week. The contest isn't worth losing a site over, sit back and thank people when they do vote I guess. Guy.

Thanks for the tips. I do not it again!

how Can i deleted my links in other picture? (How do i remove them?)

someGuyinmasset on September 3, 2009

Hi Mahdi, just go back to the picture and there's a 'delete' beside your comment. My bedtime over here so goodnight :)

Mahdi Kalhor on September 3, 2009

Hi Guy

Thanks and Goodnight.

Kind regards to you,

mardrl on September 4, 2009

Interesting photo. Great macro. I don't think I have allowed myself to see that much detail on a spider. :)

someGuyinmasset on September 4, 2009

No problem Mahdi, just making sure you stay around.

Thanks Margot, I asked if she would shave her legs for her glamor shot but she was having nothing to do with that.

mardrl on September 4, 2009

Smart girl!! Shaving draws blood.

I'm glad it not be holding me. It is a beautiful monster. I'll not put it in my faves and hope to forget about it soon. Uggh. Too powerful, this image! Well done!

someGuyinmasset on September 6, 2009

That's why I don't shave my legs Margot.

Thanks Jean, she is a beauty ain't she?

GREAT macro shot!

someGuyinmasset on September 14, 2009

Thanks dsw_558, gotta love spiders! Guy.

Sue Allen on September 15, 2009

Her spiky knees are flexed-- Tremulous and tentative, A morsel she expects To wing its way through sunlit skies And stumble on the thread Of slender, spinning agony All tiny insects dread...

This picture just perfectly captures, for me,the fascination of the conflict of horror and beauty spiders command. Awesome detail. Well done Guy, but I still don't love spiders but I view them with a great deal more respect after seeing such a close up view :)

Best wishes,

someGuyinmasset on September 16, 2009

Well thanks Sue, I'm sure that secretly she'd be quite pleased with that.

olimpos on September 22, 2009

Hey beholder, you are very close, be careful :-))

Nice shot!!

Best regards, Andreas.

someGuyinmasset on September 22, 2009

Good advice Andreas, some things are best admired from a distance. Thanks.

Petra Kuhn on October 14, 2009
