Thank you very much again, Domingo! It's a nice airport, eh? ...even though it's been open for 12+ years now.

I flew into here on the last flight out of the old airport in Bangkok, w☺rap☺ng. I remember both airports very well, for my luggage didn't make the transfer on time in BKK as my arriving flight was late, and on my return I sat in this airport for 7 hours as the intended flight to Bangkok was cancelled.

The joys of airports.

Ian

Hi Ian! You were stranded in HK? Not quite a memorable experience for you at both airports. If you are back in this photo page again, what happened to your flight to Bangkok back then?

I was taken by Korean Airlines later in the day to Bangkok and transferred to another flight to Sydney, that left Bangkok around midnight. I got home evnetually. But it was good to visit new airports for I had only ever been into the old airport in HK, before. I particularly remember the joy of seeing Hianan from the air for the first time - sitting on a portside window seat.

Regards,

Ian

Ian, that you mentioned the word "Hainan" and your journey to a little known island like Tonga tells a lot about your great interest in geography. So am I. :)

For me I am never too upset about flight delays or late luggage as well. As long as my journey is safe and sound, I am happy. :D

Best wishes, w☺rap☺ng《阿鵬》

Ah ! You also like airport roofs ? Nice picture 阿鵬

Looking at this image reminds me how much time I spent looking at airport architecture this week !

You have a very nice gallery 阿鵬 and represent Thailand very well.

Thank you for the praise, Jethrohoyt. Airport these days is a good place to take interesting perspective photographs.

ใช่ครับ สุวรรณภูมิออกแบบไม่เหมาะกับการใช้งานอะครับ ฝุ่นเกาะเขรอะไปหมดเลย เพราะโครงเยอะไป แล้วภายในอาคารร้อนมาก
