Norrel on September 7, 2009

The strange thing about this picture is the big wave in a calm sea. Jean discovered the Surferdude with the brimmed hat who caused the splash.

someGuyinmasset on September 7, 2009

That's not strange Norrel, John Wayne made a big splash wherever he went.

You chose a perfect moment to capture this shot. The lighting is perfect

Tom Lussier on September 22, 2009

Sweet capture Guy. Love the action in this sunset shot. Not something you see too often. :)

Best regards from Virginia, Tom

Hi Marian, sorry I missed you a while back, thanks a bunch!

Thanks also a bit late, tu-quoque.

Hi Tom, thanks, never thought of that: an action sunset.

Guy.

Hi Keri, thanks, I just came from there and it was quite similar in color. Guy.

Artur Drogosz on October 16, 2009

You froze the waves in rays of sunset.

someGuyinmasset on October 17, 2009

Shhhh Artur! Pretty soon it might really be frozen.

Thanks beamish boy, things starting to warm up over there? Guy.

Hi some Guyinmasset, normally spring would be well on the way here, but we've had three bad winters in row, this by far the worst, with many heavy frosts; coldest we've experienced during 16 years of living here. Crocuses struggled through about 5 days ago, but daffodils are only just starting to flower - about 2 weeks late! Best wishes - beamish boy

Yeah I saw it was pretty chilly over there, we had our mildest winter here but just on the west coast, your spring is still ahead of ours.
